Ndutu Safari
Lodge is
situated in the
South-eastern
part of the
Serengeti.
This safari
lodge has 34
cottgaes all shaded by
majestic acacia
trees, built of
local materials,
all w ith private
verandahs facing
Lake Ndutu. The
Lodge is
surrounded by
indigenous trees
and shrubs which
encourage a host
of birds and
mammals to come
right to your
front door.
Tucked well away
from the busy
tourist circuit,
Ndutu offers
peace and
tranquility far
from the madding
crowd.
All rooms have
en-suite
facilities. Four
rooms have a
king-size bed,
there are also
four family
rooms, which can
accommodate up
to four people.
All other rooms
have 2 single
beds.
At Ndutu Safari
Lodge the African day
is welcomed by a
myriad of bird
calls heralding
the rising sun.
Ndutu has
the informal,
intimate feeling
of the original
bush camp, built
by legendary
hunter George
Dove in the
60's. Now,
comfortable
cottages have
replaced tents,
but our main
buildings place
no barriers
between you and
nature

At Ndutu safari
lodge you view
animals at all
time; at
breakfast you
will be
delighted by
iridescent
birds, at lunch;
a passing group
of elephants, at
dinner; a genet
gliding over the
rafters.
Sights and
sounds abound;
listen to the
murmurs of a
million doves
greeting the
sunrise, a
cacophony of
guinea fowl as
they startle
away, the swish
of a hawk
through the
clear air.
Hyenas howling,
zebras and
jackals barking,
the rich chorus
of Ndutu rings
round, night and
day.
